課程概述 |
This oral training course provides the opportunity for students to practice their English in the listening and speaking skill areas. Students will be discussing on a variety of topics under the guidance of the teacher. They will also be given opportunities to lead discussions based on their interests. Other speaking related areas such as pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm will be practiced in class. When students feel more comfortable speaking up in English in a controlled environment, they will be asked to apply what they have learned in class by interacting in English with people in the real world.

課程目標 |
This course is designed to make speaking up in English a less stressful experience for students by improving their command of spoken English. Students will be given ample opportunities to practice their listening and speaking skills through interacting with their peers and teacher in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Students should bear in mind that only by opening their mouth to speak up can they improve their English, so active in-class participation is asked for in every class meeting. Students are also encouraged to converse with each other in English in and outside of the classroom to practice and apply what they have learned in class. |

課程要求 |
Classes are conducted entirely in English. Students should attend all classes and come to class on time and prepared. Students who need to be absent should notify the teacher in advance. Since this is an oral training course, any students who are not ready to participate in class will be given a zero for participation grade for that particular class. |
